For sale is a A rare 1935 dated British Union of fascists poster/flyer that informs the British public what is going on in the world specifically for Russia, Italy, Abyssinia. The poster is titled "IS BRITAIN TO FIGHT FOR RUSSIA? THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG BRITAIN MUST FIGHT TO DEFEND RUSSIA AND THE OIL MAGNATES, MOSLEY SAYS PEACE" this publication was Published by B..F. Publications Led. London Printed by The Signal Press Lid. (T.U.), 133, Gt. Suffolk Stroet, SR.1 This poster was designed to invoke reaction, as the majority of the population had just gotten over World War One, and did not want another world war. Invoking reaction turned heads and received an audience. The summer of 1935, when a new emblem, the Flash and Circle was introduced. This gradually superseded the Fasces. The new emblem was said to represent the flash of action within a circle of unity. According to Oswald Mosley, Eric Hamilton Piercy, the Sommander of the Fascist Defence For designed the emblem. The official colours were, a white Flash and Circle on a blue roundel with a red background. Shown below are some of the types of Flash and Circle used, including the original short lived inverted emblem, which was used briefly in 1935.
