TAXIDERMY/ NATURAL SPECIMENS, in abidance with British Law (and concerning country laws/ regulations international shipping may be permitted however a permit must be acquired first, (before exchange of money, agreement of sale etc). To apply for a permit or certificate to import, export or re-export any animal or plant species, and their parts or derivatives, that are on the CITES list. This includes if you move CITES specimens between Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) and the EU, and GB and Northern Ireland (NI).

Use Species+ to find out if your specimen is on the CITES list, BUT THIS WILL BE CLEARLY MARKED ON LISTINGS EFFECTED ( whether this is an A10 permit needed for annex A species, import or export licenses/permits). Species are listed according to how endangered they are in the wild. Annex A is the most strictly controlled list of species and annex D the least. Atlas antiques will apply for the export permit, the customer is responsible for the import permit- however we are happy to assist with this process. (Atlas Antiques is not at fault if the customer takes these steps before of purchase before a permit or license is obtained).  For more information on Cities and wildlife laws please take a look at their website: https://cites.org/eng
