For sale is a Antique Victorian 1890s Mahogany & Brass Escutcheon Simple Writing Slope.
This writing slope measures 29.5cm in length x 21.5cm width x 14.5cm height.
This writing slope dates to the 1890s and is made from mahogany and has a brass shield on top with a brass escutcheon. The inside has a green leather scivier, pen tray and slots for ink wells.
Unfortunately this writing slope appears to have been restored. The two boards in the writing slope have had hinges attached more recently, and the green leather scivier has been replaced. This is also missing its key. However keys can be cut for around £15-20 at a local locksmiths.
This will be sent via Parcelforce express 24 and dispatched within two working days.
