For sale is a Beautiful Antique Victorian Crocodile Skin & Brass Three Tier Velvet Lined Jewellery Box.
This is in mostly good condition, unfortunately there is some wear to the crocodile skin on the corners (which can be seen in the photos for more details). This beautiful box is fitted with a Bramah lock which is often a sign of quality. Inside is a cantilever mechanism that opens to reveal two three tier velvet-lined trays. The insides of the box are immaculate and in very good condition. The top of the Jewett/ trinket box also has a brass carrying handle, the top is also marked in gold leaf lettering “V.R-S.”
This really is a beautiful box and with a little restoration you could restore this to its former glory.
This box when closed measures 23cm in length x 16.5cm width x 12.5cm height.
