For sale is a Beautiful Antique 1860s Cased Ambrotype With Gilt Frame Of American & British Flags.
This Ambrotype is in mostly good condition, which has a leather embossed floral design to the front and back (unfortunately some of the leather is worn which can be seen in the photos for more details). A red velvet florally decorated inside padding, with gold leaf edging. The Ambrotype is cased in a beautiful gilt floral inner frame and an outer frame displaying the crossed Union Jack and American flag, American eagles on the top edges and British rampant lions on the bottom corners. The Ambrotype itself is of a mother and young child.
This Daguerreotype measures 8.3cm length x 9.4cm width x 1.8cm depth.
