For sale is a Antique 1900 International Exhibition Paris Congo Princess Soap Paper Label. 

This is in mostly good condition, wax to the front side of the label and slight damage to the inside label (please see photos for more details). 

The inside label once translated to English states;

“CONGO PRINCESS SOAP

PREPARED BY VICTOR VAISSIER

INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION PARIS 1900, JURY MEMBER, OUT OF COMPETITION

Sovereign paste against efflorescence, chapping, chilblains, redness, tanning, razor burn, freckles, cracks, and all minor skin infections caused by the overuse of cosmetics, rancid cold creams, adulterated rice powder, and poorly prepared soaps; an inimitable fragrance, both in its pungency and its subtlety.”

This is a lovely piece of advertisement, with a gorgeous litho print to the front.
