For sale Is a Beautiful Antique 1904 Silver Plated Highly Decorated Spoon & Fork Boxed Set 2nd Prize.
This cased Edwardian silver-plated fish serving and cutlery set was supplied by Fattorini & Sons of Bradford as a 2nd prize award for a 440 yards flat race at the Scape Goat Hill Brass Band Sports held on July 30, 1904.
This is a complete set of 12 silver plated highly decorated desert spoons, handles decorated with floral motifs and a shield. Included in this set are four other larger decorative utensils including a fish fork etc all of which is complete. Unfortunately there appears to be one piece missing (the sugar tongs).
This set is in mostly good condition, these could be polished to bring back to their former glory.
