For sale is a Rare WW2 1939 to 1946 Russian Distinction of the People's Commissariat Chemical Industry of the USSR Enamel Award/ badge. 
 
The Signs on the badge/ award state from translated Russian;  "Narkomhimprom. Excellent student of social competition" People's Commissariat of Chemical Industry - People's Commissariat of Chemical Industry. 
 
The badge was a departmental distinction of the People's Commissariat of Chemical Industry of the USSR (formed on January 24, 1939 from the Tax Code of Heavy Industry of the USSR. On March 15, 1946, it was transformed into the Ministry of the same name). The provision on the badge was approved by the People's Commissar of the Chemical Industry of the USSR M.F. Denisov on November 1, 1939.
 
This is in mostly good condition, unfortunately some of the enamel is missing on the CCCP flag, so please see photos for more details. The award is complete with its original screw fastener button. The back is also crudely marked 4608 which is the issue number.  This is a rare wartime medal to obtain. This will be sent via Royal Mail special delivery and dispatched within two working days.
