For sale is an original WW2 Netherlands Dutch Germanic Land Services Hitler Youth Leaders Badge.
This is a leaders brooch for the Germanic Land Service. The Germanic land service evolved from the original group, The Landjahr (Land Year), of the Dutch Hitler Youth. It actually encompassed volunteers from among the youth of all the Nordic countries and laterally, even of the Baltic states. It is supposed that the Germans hoped to expand the concepts of the HJ Organization to one of universal German Youth (Germanishe Jugend). The terms Germanic Land Service and Germanic Youth were often used as interchangeable.
