To meet that danger every other consideration should be set aside, whether it be an issue of domestic or of foreign policy. Firm and united action now will bring final peace and security because, at present, we have the means to secure that peace which none can resist. To drift and to lose this hour in the idle talk of a dexterous opponent who plays for time and his own opportunity will not be forgotten by that High Fate which raules the destiny of States.”
