This is in mostly good condition, enamel is all in good condition, unfortunately the badge back is missing. This badge is maker marked Firmin & Sons. 

The Mechanical Transport Special Reserve was a specialized category of the British Army established before World War I. Formed to manage the growing need for motor vehicles, it enlisted civilian mechanics and drivers into the Army Service Corps (ASC) to provide immediate, highly trained manpower when mobilized.
