For sale is a WW2 British Home Front Womens Land Army WLA Uniform Hat Badge.
A good original Second World War period 'Womens Land Army' gilt badge, die-stamped example inlaid with green enamel to central wheatsheaf and red enamel to the Crown. Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
Height 37mm.
Worn on the felt hat and also on the uniform green jumper, discontinued after 1942 due to the metal shortage.
