WW2 Young Britons Organisation Junior Conservative Members Badge

For sale is WW2 1940s British Home Front Young Britons Organisation Junior Conservative Members Badge. A good original circa 1940's 'Young Britons' circular gilt membership badge with vivid blue enamelling depicting the "Lion of England". Good condition, original pin fittings. Diameter 20 mm. The Young Britons Organisation was formed in 1925 as the junior branch of the National Union of Conservative and Unionist Associations. It was discontinued during the war years, refomed again in 1948 and formally ended in 1965.

This is a period 1940s badge manufactured and maker marked “w.d. lewis (badges) ltd Birmingham” on the back of the badge. There is a small blemish in the enamel so please see photos.
