For sale are a Rare Post WW2 RAF Heany Southern Rhodesia Converted Piston Ashtray 1949-1951. This is in good condition and is made from a converted Airplane Piston. This is engraved “To Beryl R.A.F Heany Southern Rhodesia 1949-1951”. 

 
R.A.F. Heany was home to N. 4 Flying Training School and 394 Maintenance Unit while I was there 1948/1949.It was approximately 15 miles from Bulawayo which was the capitol of the then Southern Rhodesia. It operated Tiger Moths and Harvard aircraft.
