Percy served in the 1st battalion Duke of Cornwalls light infantry under the service number 6830 under the rank of Lance Corporal.
Percy entered the French theatre of war on the 26th of January 1915. And unfortunately only the 25th of April 1915 after serving for 13 years of service, Percy was wounded in action and shot in the head. Percy was returned home from the front and sadly passed away on the 6th of May 1915.
