For sale is an absolutely beautiful Antique Black Lacquer and Hand Painted Papiermâché Basket that has a Bronze Acorn Leaf Reef Handle. This dates from the 1860s to 1880s and is in good condition for its age, in the centre a traditional Victorian chinoiserie spray of flowers which are all hand painted. The basket handle is well detailed and truely beautiful. The basket measures 28cm in diameter and it’s handle at the thickest point measures 3cm in width. This is either English or German made. This is in good condition, however there is some cracks to the back so please see photos, it still had its structure integrity.
