For sale is a Rare WW2 French Uncut/ Un-Assembled Liberation Of Paris Battle Scene Diorama. This beautiful diorama was intended to be cut round and assembled to make the diorama scene which can be seen in the first photograph and the last two photos graphs. This listing is for the uncut/ un-assembled version.
This scene was designed and illustrated by Roland Forgues, in which is it shows the liberation of Paris, the Barricades 19th-25th August 1944- A battle scene of the French resistance fighting the German enemy, and the defeat of the German invaders! This was produced and printed by De L’Office Central De L’imagerie, Paris in 1945.
This is in exceptional condition, and measures 26.7cm in width x 40cm in height. When the diorama is assembled it would measure 27 cm in length, 14 cm in height, 11 cm in depth.
