For sale is a Beautiful Antique 19th Century Indian Brass Decorative Elephant Ladies Foot Scrubber. 

 

It was commonly used by women in India while bathing to scrub their feet, which was necessary due to walking barefoot. Some versions including the one listed container small pebbles or metal balls inside to create a sound when used, warning others of a woman bathing nearby. 

 

This is in good condition and has beautifully details and dates to the mid 19th century. 

 

This measures 7.5cm In length x 4.8cm width and 6.8cm height.
