For sale is a Post WW1 Silver Hallmarked Royal Navy HMS Dragon Sports Medal To James Mulvenna. 

 
This Silver medal fob is engraved “Won By James Mulvenna, HMS Dragon 1924-25”. The front of the medal holds the initials of James Mulvenna. This medal is silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1924 by the silversmith Alexander Clark & Co Ltd. 
 
James Mulvenna was born in the 9th of February 1903 in Galway, Ireland. His trade upon enlisting was a labourer. His religious views was Roman Catholic. He was described as fresh complexion, blue eyes and brown hair. 
 
James enlisted in Winchester on the 31st October 1922. James served for 22 years and 11 months in the Royal Navy. During his service he served onboard Hms dragon (which was later scuttled), Chatham division, sandhurst, York, Cumberland, Cardiff and Portsmouth. 
 
James was discharged in the 10th of October in 1945. James was awarded a victory medal, war medal, 1914-15 star, and a Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. Unfortunately these are missing.
