For sale is a WW1 Victory Medal To Seaman A Davidson Royal Navy From Dairsie, Fife. 

 
This victory medal is engraved on the rim “213584 A Davidson A.B.R.N”. 
 
Alexander Davidson was born on the 20th March 1885 in Dairsie, Fife. Upon listing his trade was a coal miner. 
 
He enlisted into the Royal Navy at Chatham in 1903, aged 18 years of age. His description on enlistment was light brown hair, hazel coloured eyes and described to have a fresh complexion. 
 
During his service he served on board HMS Pembroke, Vernon, Black Prince, Caledonia, Vivid I, Vengence, Commonwealth, Lord Nelson, Illustrious Etc.
 
He was discharged from the Royal Navy on the 2nd of April 1919 after serving 16 years and three months with the Royal Navy.
