For sale is a WW1 Victory Medal To Sergeant P E Hyssett Royal Engineers& Research. 

 
This victory medal is engraved on the rim “1237 Sjt P E Hyssett RE”. 
 
Percival Edward Hyssett was born in 1887 and was one of three sons; Sam, Percival and Cevil. His father was called Harry Hyssett and his mother Alive Hyssett. In which they were from western super mare. 
 
Percival upon enlistment was a clerk. Towards the middle of 1914 he enlisted into the British army. After completing his training with the royal engineers in the British army he embarked for France on the 31st of March 1915. He served at the rank of sergeant in the royal engineers. 
 
He was later discharged after completing five years of service in the 21st of February 1919. he was entitled to the British victory medal, war medal and 1914-15 star.
