For sale is a Post WW2 Medal Duo 1950-1953 Korean War Medal & UN Korea Medal which is engraved to:

Carters rank was an able seaman in the Royal Navy. Unfortunately we’ve struggled researching further with this medal duo.
 
 
The Korean War (also known by other names) was fought between North Korea and South Korea from 1950 to 1953. The war began on 25 June 1950 when North Korea invaded South Korea following clashes along the border and rebellions in South Korea. North Korea was supported by China and the Soviet Union while South Korea was supported by the United States and allied countries. The fighting ended with an armistice on 27 July 1953.
 
 
The Korean War resulted in an estimated Total civilian deaths: 2–3 million, South Koreans: 990,968 total casualties, an estimated 1,550,000 total casualties. And approximately 1,100 British soldiers died during the Korean War.
