For sale is a WW1 period 1920 German Bronze 3rd Place Medal For Shot Put A.S.C.Cothen 11.7.1920. The front of the medal states: “DRM Sieger” depicting a nude muscular man throwing a shot put with a detailed Reef below. On the reverse it states “ 3rd preis kugelstossen a.s.c.Cothen 11.7.1920” with a curved olive branch. This medal is highly detailed and is in great condition. The diameter is 31mm with a thickness of 3mm. The medal is also maker marked on the edge of the rim and appear to be gold plated.
