For sale is a WW1 Victory Medal To Bombardier M H Sherwood Royal Field Artillery & Research.

 
This ww1 victory medal is engraved on the rim “965984 BMBR M H Sherwood RA”.
 
Mark Herbert Sherwood lived a 134 Charlton Lane in Charlton upon enlisting into the British army. Mark enlisted on the 26th of October 1915. Mark served with the 8th London (Howitzer) Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. On the 10th of July 1917 mark was promoted to rank of Bombardier from private. Mark served in the French theatre of war. 
 
On the 29th of November 1918 mark was sent to Woolwich hospital and was reported as sick. In the 31st of December 1918 mark was discharged from the British army.  
 
Mark was entitled to a British war medal and a victory medal. Unfortunately only the victory medal is present.
