The Long Service & Good Conduct Medal is engraved on the rim “Lieut. F. Carr. R.E”.
This medal Group holds a set of court mounted medals including the defence medal, war medal, Long Service & Good Conduct Medal. This also comes with the mounted medal bar too.
Criteria of the long service and good conduct medal:
The Long Service & Good Conduct Medal (Army) is awarded to members of the British Army who have completed 15 years of reckonable service. A soldier who completes 15 years of reckonable service from the date of attestation or age 17_, whichever is later, shall be eligible to receive the medal.
