For sale is a WW2 RAF Royal Air Force Medal Group to 1429349 corporal Arthur John Newbury Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve (RAFVR). Arthur was born on 06/04/1904 in Harrow. He enlisted 02/07/1941, serving as a Fitter II (Engines) and was discharged 15/10/1945. He served in India from 27/08/1942 to 29/07/1945. He was awarded a war medal, defence medal, 1939-45 star and Burma star. Accompanying his medal group is a large amount of paperwork.
