For sale is an original Antique 1906 Greek Athens Gilded Bronze Participation Olympic Medal. This medal is in mostly good condition there is some wear to the gilding in places which can be seen in the photos for more details.
This measures 50mm in diameter and weighs 59.41 grams. Only 74 of these bronze medals were issued.
The 1906 Intercalated Games or 1906 Olympic Games was an international multi-sport event that was celebrated in Athens, Greece. They were at the time considered to be Olympic Games and were referred to as the "Second International Olympic Games in Athens" by the International Olympic Committee.
