For sale is a nice collection of Post WW2 British Army Silver Plated Souvenirs Of Sgt J.E.Stokes Service Ranging From 1959-77. These three souvenirs are from different branches of the British army that Sgt J.E.Stokes worked for during his service.

The earliest dated piece is from 1959 from the royal Warwickshire regiment sergeants mess, this is a small silver plated ashtray which is in excellent condition, with no wear to the plating. This ash tray is engraved “To Sgt. J.E. Stokes R. Warwick’s From Sgts Mess M.O.C.S Nov 1959”.

The next piece in chronological order is a Infantrymen’s battalion Silver plated tankard. Unfortunately there is a fair bit of wear on the silver plate, in which it was definitely well used! This lovely tankard is engraved “Presented by the Wo’s & Sgts The Junior Infantrymen’s Battalion. RSM J.E.S Stokes RRF April 1972”.

The final piece is a lovely silver plated cigar bar which is in good condition, and from the army careers office and originally manufactured by Aristocrat HEPNSB. This superb piece is engraved “Army Careers Office Birmingham W.O.I.J.K.S Stoles RRF December 1977”.

These are really beautiful souvenirs of this man’s service to the British army spanning 19 years!
