For sale is a WW1 German Postcard Captioned “Von den Franzosen in Brand geschossen” which translates to shot On By The French. The postcard shows a bombed/burnt out building with a number of German troops/fireman putting out the fires. On the back of the postcard it states “Militärisch zensiert und zum freien Verkehr zugelassen. Kunst und Verlagsanstalt Schaar & Dathe, K.-G. a. Akt., 1rler. Nr. 699” which translates to Censored by the military and approved for free circulation.  Art and publishing house Schaar & Dathe, K.-G.  a.  Akt., 1rler. No. 699 the burning St Scuplet. Post card is in good condition and unused.
