For sale is a Post WW2 Iraq 1991 M90 Republican Guard Gulf War Helmet & Chinstrap.

This helmet is in fair condition, scratches and wear to the desert tan outer shell, missing rim, missing liner, parts of chin strap remain.

The Iraqi M90 helmet, used during the 1991 Gulf War, is a lightweight plastic/fiberglass clone of the US M1 helmet. Manufactured locally or imported from South Korea, these helmets featured a crude liner and a distinct painted sand/tan color, and are widely known among collectors for their poor ballistic protection.

The Gulf War was an armed conflict between Iraq and a 42-country coalition led by the United States. The coalition's efforts were in two phases: Operation Desert Shield, which marked the military buildup from August 1990 to January 1991; and Operation Desert Storm, from the bombing campaign against Iraq on 17 January until the American-led liberation of Kuwait on 28 February.
