For sale is an absolutely beautiful Large Antique Taxidermy Blue Eared Pheasant (Crossoptilon auritum) Maker marked on the bottom with a paper makers label By D.L. Keningale Taxidermist Warwickshire. This beautiful piece dates to the 1930s, and is one of the famous taxidermists in the same league as rowland Ward, Peter spicer, James Gardner and Van Ingen. The specimen of the blue eared pheasant is a rare Mount itself but to have this produced by a very well known taxidermist really is the cream on the cake! This beautiful piece is mounted on a scenic mount, both Mount and Pheasant is in good condition, a couple feathers out of place! But really is a truly brilliant Mount.
