For sale is an original WW1 British Army Medical Officers Hypodermic Morphine syringes Unused Tin With Original Contents. The tin measures Length: 8.59cm, Width: 3cm
Height: 1.98cm, Writing on tin height: 0.18cm, Writing on tin length: 1.17cm, Cable wire width: 0.56cm, the front of the tin is marked E.S S Ltd in the centre. The contents of the tin is two unused morphine syrettes, cotton wool padding, 1 cat gut surgical stature and a metal wire keeping the tin from being opened, the only piece missing is the instructions and seal for the wire.
The morphine syrettes were produced by Roche Products Limited during the period of 1909 to 1920 only. History of this product and technical information can be seen at the bottom of the page. The syrettes are unused and unopened, and most likely unissued surviving both world wars. The labels on the syrettes state as follows:
