For sale are a pair of WW2 dated British Army mortise chisels with each being marked 1944dated crow foot marked W Marple ES & Son and a 1945 dated crow foot marked FGP with both of the chisels being marked SA Powell on the handle. These tools are heavy duty issue and most likely made for the RAF or air ministry for constructing aircraft wooden frames. Both in good condition with clear markings on the tool and handle, the only real issue is a crack on both of the handles.
