For sale is a WW1 Pre 1916 French Model 1886 Lebel Rosalie Rifle Bayonet. This bayonet is Pre 1916 due to the white handled grips (after 1916 they used brass due to the metal shortages during the war). French Model 1886 Lebel rifle bayonet - known as the "Rosalie."The cruciform blade is full length 20.5 inches and overall length 25 inches. There is also a serial number on the hilt “971NY” and the blade is marked “LR. Mostly in good condition, however the scabbard has been pierced/ damaged by a piece of shrapnel which can be seen in the photographs. This will be sent via Parcelforce and dispatched within two working days.
