For sale is a Rare Pre WW1 1907 Dated Tissue Handkerchief. This handkerchief is titled “Souvenir in commemoration of the royal visit of the emperor and empress of Germany, to the city, Wednesday, November 13, 1907, at 1 o’clock at Guildhall welcome.”
This beautiful handkerchief is decorated with the German patriotic eagle, flag and anchor, as well as the outlines of both the emperor and empress.
This is mostly in good condition but unfortunately there is one large corner missing (bottom right) and a small corner missing (top left). This would look superb framed, and is an incredibly rare piece of history with very little of these surviving the test of time! This survived as it was folded in a old family Bible!
