For sale is a rare Pre WW2 German Weimar Weimar Republic National Flag Pennant which would have been used during the period 1919 to 1933. 


The flag of Germany (German: Flagge Deutschlands) is a tricolour consisting of three equal horizontal bands displaying the national colours of Germany: black, red, and gold (German: Schwarz-Rot-Gold). The flag was first sighted in 1848 in the German Confederation; with it being officially adopted as the national flag of the Weimar Republic from 1919 to 1933, and again being in use since its reintroduction in West Germany in 1949. This is in great condition and is a rare period pennant. 


This is a great quality pennant made in free segments Black red and gold cotton and stitched together with period construction methods. Two period rings attached down the margin of either ends of the pennant.
