Original 1930s WW2 German Steel & Enamel Blue & White Stühweg Sign

For sale is a rare Original 1930s WW2 German Steel & Enamel Blue & White Stühweg Street/ Town Sign, marked H65 on the reverse. This is a late 1930s period steel and enamel sign in very good condition, it retains all of its colour and character with scuff marks around the edges, and several white paint stains. Quite rare as most German enamel road signs were destroyed or removed by American soldiers after the fall of Germany in 1945. This ename sign is bow front and not flat like the modern ones you see. Stühweg is a road in located in Bergen, Germany. This beautiful sign measures: 15cm height x 45.5cm length.
