For sale is An Exceptionally Rare WW2 German 1939 Dated Hauptbesteck Field Hospital Surgical Tool Kit Which is 70% Complete.
This surgical set of Hauptbesteck the well known and respected medical company B.M CHIRON of Tutlingen. This tool kit we believe has been used in the field during ww2 as there is wear to the bone saw and signs of use on most of the tools. All the tools are clean, every tool is numbered in which they all slot into there designated positions, all tools are either marked with the snake and staff or Chivron. Included is the original factory instructions leaflet explaining the contents and its uses. This is a portable set for the Lazarett field hospitals, suitable to be used in field conditions, at the battlefield. The set goes into a metal carrying container, with folding handles on the sides. Inside on the lid has the original list of contents, printed in Gothic German letters in which It’s dated 1939.
“Hauptbesteck” translates to “Main Cutlery”
