For sale is a WW1 British Army Broad Arrow Tea Pot James Deakin & Son Hard Soldered Silver. This tea pot is in excellent condition. Manufacture marked on the bottom James Deakin & Sons, Sheffield, A308, Hard Soldered, Patent 398940. This teapot/ milk jug is hard soldered which is a better known as a better quality thicker silver plate. This would have been issued to officers or serviceman of higher rank due to the quality! This piece is marked in two places with the broad arrow abs a number 17, this number 17 is a British army inspection stamp. James Deakin & sons held this name
