For sale is an extremely rare American Civil War Surgical Heart/ Field Surgeons Kit, maker marked George Tiemann & Co New York. This surgeons kit would have been used and produced especially for the American civil war from 1861 to 1865. There are several tools missing from this kit so please study the photos carefully the box is in fairly good shape, the locks are still working and hinges are still in good condition and working well, the main issue with the box is it’s missing it’s brass plaque from the front. All of the tools are marked Tiemann & Co, with a fair few of the tools marked up as sterling. This is a rare piece of kit, which rarely comes up for sale, especially in England!
