For sale is a Rare American Military Civil War 1861-1865 Straight Razor. The razor is etched with the American civil war presidential seal with the motto “e pluribus unum”. The presidential seal has 13 stars on it, along with the two presidential seals on the left and right hand side, PRIMA is edged in large in the centre. The Tang of the razor is marked “R.S.O Solingen” and the other side of the tang “Finest Sheffield steel hand forged and hollow ground and made in Germany.” The handle is made from what is presumed to be cow bone. In good condition And still sharp, the handle is a little loose from the blade. This razor comes with a solingen box unsure if the box is original to the razor.
