For sale is a Antique 1890s French Wax Medical Moulage Death Mask Of A Young Girl with slight Swelling & Bruising to her face. This wax moulage have recently been sourced from a museum, its in brilliant condition, and is highly detailed. Wax medical moulages have been produced the last few hundred years for educational purposes. When a person would die of a disease, infection or illness a wax life sized copy of there face/ or body part of interest would be produced, these moulages would then be used to teach/ educate medical professionals of the time and future, many would also go into museums etc. These moulages could be made up with the victims real hair, teeth and eyebrows for a more realism to be achieved.
