For sale is a Antique 1819-1861 HRH Prince Albert Royal Funeral Mourning Ribbon In Frame. This Antique Silk Mourning RibbonFuneral RemembranceHRH Prince Consort - His Royal Highness Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria of EnglandBorn at Rosenau Aug. 26, 1819Died at Windsor Dec. 14, 1861This listing is for an original, old ribbon which was a funeral remembrance from when Prince Albert died on Dec. 14, 1861. He was Queen Victoria's husband and great love. It is said the grief over losing Albert lasted the rest of Queen Victoria's life. Measures 2 3/8" by 8 1/4". No maker's mark.As shown in the photos, the ribbon has a country house scene at the top surrounded by bushy trees and shrubs. The middle view is of HRH Prince Albert from the chest up. The bottom scene looks to be a castle with boats in a lake.
