For sale is an absolutely beautiful original Copper Art Nouveau German WÜRTTEMBERGISCHE METALLWARENFABRIK WMF Jugendstil desk set designed by Albert Mayer. In this set is an a copper ink stand marked 122 ostrich mark in a rhombus, a brass topped heavy glass inkwell, a ostrich mark in a rhombus letter opener copper tray also marked 6/4248 and is hand signed by the artist, a copper and brass letter opener to go with the tray, a ostrich mark in a rhombus copper and brass blotter (missing the pad), and a black Bakelite dip pen. This really is a beautiful set, all WMF Ostrich marked made from copper and brass following a natural organic floral art nouveau flowing style! This is the most complete set that I have currently come across and in good condition.
