This writing slope is in great condition made from beautiful figured walnut with brass parallel bands and has the original working locking key. The beautiful french green leather writing boards, are decorated with gilt fleur de lis and floral patterns. This beautiful writing slope also comes with two Victorian brass candlesticks and candles, a brass candle sniffer, a black Bakelite stationary office inkwell, signature monogram wax stamp sealer, menthol snuff and unopened contents, gold plated spectacles, 12 x ww1 greeting cards and postcards corespondents between family members and a royal engineer soldier, and finally there is also a pre ww1 royal engineers CDV.
