For sale is a Antique 18th To 19th Century Moroccan Military Horn and Brass Powder Flask. This is a great example of a mid 18th century African/ Moroccan Military powder flask, with primitively decorated brass & silver mounts. This great piece measures 36cm in length, the mouth of the powder flask measures 1.7cm diameter and the lid/ end measures 7cm in diameter. This horn is constructed with three brass securing bands and has two brass nail securing plates to the bottom- which is typical 18th to 19th century construction. This is a cracking piece, unfortunately one of the horn section plates has corroded this can be seen in the photos. Please see photos for more details.
