WW1 British Army Mizpah Silver Hallmarked Brooch Absent From Another

For sale is a WW1 Period British Army Mizpah Silver Hallmarked Brooch which states “ The Lord Watch between me & thee. MIZPAH. When We Are Absent From Another.” This brooch weighs 7.25 grams, measuring 6cm in length. This brooch was most likely purchased from a British soldier and given to there sweetheart, family or friends before leaving to fight on the front. This is a beautiful little badge however it has been repaired which is evident from the photographs of the back, two of the silver small circular decorations on the boarder of this brooch are also damaged/ missing. This is a beautifully decorated badge, and would look great as a display piece. This will be sent via 1st class signed for and dispatched within two working days.
