For sale is an original WW2 Period British Pharmaceutical Home Front Collectable that dates from the 1930s to early 1940s. This period pharmaceutical collectable is an WW2 Period British Pharmaceutical Home Front Civil Defence Elastoplast Tin & Contents. 

Elastoplast was used by civilians, home front civil defence personnel and army personnel alike to help keep wounds clean and protected. The tin states “FIRST AID DRESSINGS ELASTIC ADHESIVE, ANTISEPTIC NO BANDAGING REQUIRED Consisting of Medicated Gauze Pad, Bismuth Subgallate 2/3% on Zinc Oxide Elastic Plaster”. This was important during war time Britain as medicine and pharmaceutical supply was in short supply and people may not have been getting the equipment, medical supplies they needed straight away. 

This Elastoplast tin and contents is in great condition, which makes it perfect for a 1930s to 1940s British wartime home front and military Pharmaceutical and medical displays, reinactors and collectors! This is guaranteed an original 1930s to 1940s British home front collectable!
