For sale is a rare WW2 British Pharmaceutical Factory Department Home Office Complete First Aid Kit. This Factory Department Home Office Complete First Aid Kit September 1930 Dated. This first aid kit was used in a factory or industrial setting where injuries from heavy machinery,chemicals, and sharp equipment were real possibilities. The inscriptions on the inside attached poster reads “Factory Department Home Office September 1930 Form 923”. The Factory Department (established 1844) of the Home Office was responsible for inspecting factories and the working conditions of employees (including sanitary conditions). These factories would have been producing munitions,vehicle parts, items for the war effort Etc. This is an exceptional piece which holds all wartime 1930s to 1940s pharmaceutical goods, tins and cartons in which most of these pieces also has there original medical contents to.
This ww2 British home front medical kit, has all its contents, which makes it a perfect for collectors, re-enactors, wartime pharmacy & factory displays Etc. Every item in this kit is guaranteed original and period prices from the 1920s to early 1940s.

3. Timcuture of iodine b.p F Stratford bottle (partial contents)
4. Eye drops-cocaine-0.5 percent, (full unopened contents with original cardboard protective packaging stating “eye drops factory act solution no 1” also includes applying brush”). Manufactured by Gale Baiss Co. The outer card board packing states “eye drops factory act solution no 1” the bottom of the bottle reads “1/2 17”. The bottle label is very faded however with UV light the label In a red ink is readable and it states “para 23 eye drops . Correct .......air brush strokes local quantity MG poison cocaine 0.5 Gale baiss & co ltd. manufacturing chemists London, SE 15”. To be used when chemicals or foreign objects entered the eye, this solution would help minimise damage, stop pain and clear the eye of any foreign objects or liquids. This is an exceptionally rare piece. That also comes with its camel hair applying brush.

This Silversmith Is a rare Maker, R.J is Initials are those of Sir Robert Arthur Johnson, Deputy Master and Comptroller of the Royal Mint from 1922 to 1938.
