WW2 British Army Anker 15 Rubis Working Wrist Watch

For sale is a WW2 British Army Private Purchase Anker 15 Rubis Working Wrist Watch with an inscription on the reverse, this inscription states:

“All my love darling on our fifth anniversary Nov 14th 1945” 

This watch is in good working order and keeps good time, the strap is in good wearable condition. The domed face has a small crack in the top left hand corner but this can easily be replaced. 

Measurements are as followed:

• Watch face height: 23.4mm

Watch face width: 19.3mm 

• Watch lug/strap width: 15.8mm 
• Watch case height: 35mm
• Watch case width: 27mm
• Watch case depth: 9.4mm
• Crown diameter: 4.mm
